Zora Rux, born in 1988, is a German director, who studied at dffb and Columbia University. Her short films have been screened and awarded at numerous festivals worldwide.
She is an apprentice of the Swedish director Roy Andersson. Having worked at his films About Endlessness and A Pigeon sat on a Branch as Casting Director, she teamed up with some of Andersson's crew members for her first feature ICH ICH ICH, a surrealist dark comedy about identity and social expectations. Andersson's closest friend and advisor Kalle Boman is her mentor.
